Hello and Welcome! I am Krystle Dillon, a devoted Family Nurse Practitioner, proud mother, and an advocate for transformative healthcare.
Board-certified and seasoned in the field with over 20 years of experience, I've had the privilege of serving in diverse healthcare settings – from urgent care to home health services. But my true calling has always been family medicine, providing comprehensive care from a child's first breath to a senior's cherished golden years.
Read more about my story and approach to medical care below...
My journey began in the hallways of a local nursing home during my high school years. It was there that the seeds of compassion for patients were planted. But, like many of you, I’ve witnessed firsthand the pitfalls of modern medicine. The fast-paced environment left me disheartened, seeing over 2,200 patients yet not truly connecting with them. I watched as my patients struggled against the tides of high healthcare costs and red tape from insurance companies. This wasn’t the healthcare I envisioned when I first set out on this path.
Direct Primary Care (DPC) opened a new chapter for me, echoing my long-held belief that healthcare should be personal, timely, and affordable. In a world where healthcare expenses can be a burdensome reality – with U.S. spending averages soaring – I decided to step back to the roots of medicine. My mission is to reinstate that invaluable patient-provider relationship, making sure you’re seen when you need it most, without the financial strain.
I see healthcare through a holistic lens. For me, it's not just about treating a symptom; it’s about looking at your physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing, all while being mindful of the cost implications. It’s about prevention, education, and partnership.
As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, my hands have been at work in healthcare for over two decades. I've honed my skills from the ground up, starting as a nurse for seven years before reaching where I am today. My background is not just my career; it's a testament to my dedication to the wellbeing of my patients.
While currently my team is small, it is ever-growing. I am joined by a passionate Registered Nurse, and together we're building a foundation of care that will expand to include more like-minded healthcare professionals, all committed to your health.
In rural Minnesota, where I've planted my professional roots, I aim to bring forth a standard of healthcare that resonates with your personal aspirations. I want to ask, “What are your healthcare goals, and how can I support you in achieving them?”
In my private life, I’m a mother, an outdoor enthusiast, and an active member of my church and community. These roles nurture my understanding of life's complexities and the importance of a balanced approach to health.
